Lama Roman’s moderately sized, but deep-water courses allows a higher volume and flow velocity of water without the fear of overflowing to the water channels. This added water dissipation capacity is critical especially during heavy rain falls thereforepreventing flooding, which may lead to water leakages.

Lama Roman’s bold roll has been specially designed to provide higher structural strengths for a higher break loading tolerance during transportation and installation as well as resistance against cross winds and side flow of water which may lead to leakages, without sacrificing the width of the water course that is needed for the flow volume of water.

Lama Roman’s Triple Weather Bars creates the 3 cavities known as the weather checks. The swirling air turbulences from energy derived from the rushing wind on the underside of the tile thus, creating the triple pressure zones in between their multiple cavities. These pressure zones stops water from seeping through.

Lama Roman’s has one of the largest and squarest batten lugs which help to secure tiles firmly on the roof without easily sliding off. While many other tiles have small batten lugs and some of them which are sloped at the hanging face make them difficult to lay and are  unreliable.

Lama Roman’s main tile colour finishings consists of a colored cement slurry infused to the tile body on a wet on wet basis during production and is finished off with the layer of Thermoplastic Acrylic coating which is resistant against UV to offer the base colour additional protection over efflorescence as well as a glossy appearance which results in an extremely cost effective colour finishing that is extremely durable, proven reliable over more than 3 decades.
