FORTIS Triple Weather Bars creates a positive pressure zone from energy derived from the rushing head wind against the underside section of the headlapped tile nose, resulting in swirling air turbulences in the multiple cavities, which in turn prevents water from being pushed in.

HIGH WINGS TO PREVENT CROSSFLOW OF WATER

FORTIS higher wings has been specially designed to provide higher structural strengths for a higher break loading tolerance during transportation and installation as well as resistance against cross winds and side flow of water which may lead to leakages.

SINGLE PLUGGED NAIL HOLE

As the nail hole of FORTIS is positioned on the upper section of the tile’s water course it is manufactured as “plugged” so that water will not leak through the nail hole if the nail hole is not used. The plug, however, is easily punched or screwed through when the need to use the nail hole arises during installation.

FORTIS is manufactured using improved formulations of its finishings researched over the years whereby imported advanced polymerized materials are used in the production process to retard the decadence rate and enhance the aesthetic longevity of the product, including its resistance against UV.
