Larger and Squarer batten lugs
The larger the batten lugs are, the more vertical hanging capacities the tiles will have.
The function of the batten lugs are to provide supports so that the tiles can be hung firmly on the roof without easily sliding off. Many other tiles have very small batten lugs and some of theirs which are sloped at the hanging face make them dificult to lay and are unreliable. Lama has one of the largest and squarest batten lugs as compared to the others. The larger the batten lugs are, the more vertical hanging capacities the tiles will have.
